Lead Classroom Instructor - Dale De Vries, MA, RRT, AE-C 
Lead Instructor for the MCC Respiratory Therapy Program since 1985. Currently teaches Physics for Respiratory Care (RC), (RT 101), Pharmacology for RC, (RT 121), Respiratory Physiology (RT 131), Airway Care, (RT 130), Pulmonary Pathophysiology (RT 141), plus laboratory work for several other first year courses. Also teaches Cardiovascular Physiology and Hemodynamics (RT 210) in the second year of the program.
EDUCATION: Undergraduate education at Calvin College and the University of Michigan. Master’s degree in Education from Michigan State University. Respiratory Therapy training at the University of Chicago Hospitals and
Clinics. Eight years teaching experience in Michigan high schools before coming to MCC.
