Campus Safety

Security and safety is always a priority at Muskegon Community College. MCC is vigilant about providing its students with a safe and secure campus setting. The college provides campus security in and outside the college during day and evening classes. For any campus safety issue, please call 777-0545 or 557-5648.

When do I call security?

When do I call 911?
  • Suspected drinking or drug use
  • Lost or stolen items
  • Smoking issues
  • Auto damage
  • Illegal parking
  • Excessively loud behavior (non-threatening)
  • Locked vehicles
  • Off hours access/locked rooms
  • Fuel spills, car fires, or smoking vehicles
  • Slips and falls
  • Suspicious behavior
  • Heated arguments/disruptive behavior
  • Threatening behavior
  • Someone down/not responding/medical emergency
  • Weapons visible or reported
  • When in doubt, call 911! (followed by security at 777-0545)
